Volleyball Recap: Gillett Comes Up Short

Gillett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Ozaukee Warriors.

Ozaukee found their leader in sophomore Trahern Bartels, who had nine digs and one assist.

Gillett's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ozaukee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Gillett will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Niagara at 7:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Ozaukee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Westfield Area on the 13th.
