Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Keystone Panthers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Redbank Valley, The Port Allegany Gators were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 50-13 victory over Keystone. The result was nothing new for Port Allegany, who have now won seven matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.

Port Allegany's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Stiles led the charge by rushing for 153 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also picking up 44 receiving yards. Aiden Bliss was another key contributor, rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.

Port Allegany's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30 points. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port Allegany will take on Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Port Allegany is ranked 186th). As for Keystone, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Moniteau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moniteau has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 31st.
