Volleyball Recap: Panguitch Falls to Millard in First Game of Season

Panguitch kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millard Eagles. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Panguitch started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Panguitch still got an impressive performance from Brooklyn Harland, who had 32 digs.

Millard has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panguitch will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Millard, they will challenge Piute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
