Softball Game Preview: Barbourville Tigers vs. Knox Central Panthers

Barbourville hasn't had much luck against Knox Central recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row, Barbourville turned things around against Berea on Wednesday. They blew past the Pirates 17-7. That looming 17-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Meanwhile, Knox Central owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Middlesboro. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Barbourville's record now sits at 3-10. As for Knox Central, their record is now 9-7-1.
