Basketball Recap: Lafayette's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If LaFayette was riding high fresh off their 66-21 takedown of Oakwood Christian on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ramblers took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dade County Wolverines on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Ramblers' undefeated start to the season.

Dade County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Parker Hill, who went 5-for-11 en route to 15 points. H Garmany was another key player, shooting 60% from the field on his way to 13 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

LaFayette's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coming up, LaFayette will welcome Southeast Whitfield County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dade County, they will take on Excel Christian Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
