Basketball Recap: Doss Comes Up Short

Doss was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Eastern Eagles and fell 73-41. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Eagles are ranked 82nd).

Doss' defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Eastern, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Coming up, Doss won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Portland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Pleasure Ridge Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
