Football Recap: Diboll Lumberjacks vs. Westwood Panthers        
        
		
             After flying high against Huntington  last Friday, Diboll came back down to earth. The Diboll Lumberjacks were dealt  a  41-13 defeat at the hands of the Westwood Panthers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Lumberjacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings  (they are ranked 711th, while the Panthers are ranked 180th).
 When it comes to explaining why Diboll lost, don't look at  Jamauri Gallien. Despite the final result, he rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave  Gallien a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Diboll wouldn't let Westwood keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Diboll can thank  Tyrece Mcmillan and  Brody Finley for forcing both of them. With that strong performance,  Mcmillan is now averaging an impressive 5.3  total tackles per game.
 Even though they lost, Diboll was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 243  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 198  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
 Diboll has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record  this season. As for Westwood, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
 Diboll will take on Fairfield at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fairfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 41.8  points per game  this season. As for Westwood,  a feisty cat fight will be fought when  Panthers dukes it out withTeague at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
