Montello had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rhinelander Hodags by a score of 2-0.

Brooklyn O'Malley paced Montello's offense, picking up nine kills. O'Malley got some help from Charlee O'Malley and her 12 assists. Charlee also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emily Barganz, racking up two apiece.

Montello's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Rhinelander, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Montello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Rosholt on the 13th. As for Rhinelander, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Three Lakes on the 13th.
