Softball Recap: Har-Ber Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Har-Ber had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Fayetteville Purple Bulldogs with a sharp 9-3 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Har-Ber's sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Fayetteville, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

Looking ahead, Har-Ber will square off against Bentonville on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
