Basketball Recap: South Johnston Comes Up Short

South Johnston was the 47-31 winner over West Johnston when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The South Johnston Trojans took a blow against the West Johnston Wildcats on Monday, falling 50-23.

South Johnston dropped their record down to 6-17 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for West Johnston, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.

South Johnston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Johnston, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against C.B. Aycock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. C.B. Aycock will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Johnston surely won't give up without a fight.
