Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Angie Zuluaga- Gonzalez and Lisa Weinberg Lead Academy of International Studies to Victory

Academy of International Studies lost to University/Classical Magnet back in September of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Dragons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Academy of International Studies never let University/Classical Magnet on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-10, 25-12.

Leading Academy of International Studies to victory were Lisa Weinberg and Angie Zuluaga- Gonzalez. Weinberg had 15 aces and six digs, while Zuluaga- Gonzalez had 22 digs and two assists.

Academy of International Studies' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Academy of International Studies has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bulkeley on the 12th. University/Classical Magnet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
