Baseball Recap: Milpitas Takes a Loss

Milpitas lost against Mountain View back in April of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Milpitas took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mountain View. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Adrian Chavez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Joseph Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Milpitas' record is now 2-6. As for Mountain View, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

While Milpitas had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
