Softball Recap: Glenoak Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

GlenOak and Mentor squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but GlenOak had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Golden Eagles have suffered since April 9th.

GlenOak has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Mentor, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-7.

GlenOak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mentor, they will square off against Berea-Midpark at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
