St. Francis DeSales had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bishop Hartley on Thursday. The Stallions were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Hawks. The  win was familiar territory for the Stallions, who have now won three  matches in a row.
 St. Francis DeSales never let Bishop Hartley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23,  25-18.
 Casey Althouse paced St. Francis DeSales' offense, picking up 14 kills. Althouse got some help from  Dominic Trolli and his 28 assists.  Majid Strickland controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
St. Francis DeSales' victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Bishop Hartley,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
 St. Francis DeSales has already played their next game,  a  3-0  loss against Firestone on the 26th. As for Bishop Hartley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  defeat against Worthington Kilbourne on the 26th.
