Rincon/University's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Kofa, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-5 record.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Rincon/University and Cholla will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026. Rincon/University will be up against Cholla's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.4 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
