Perry Central suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Orleans, falling 65-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Perry Central has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Mitchell's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They strolled past West Washington with points to spare, taking the game 64-48.
Perry Central has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Mitchell, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Perry Central won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, slipping by Mitchell 54-53. Will Perry Central repeat their success, or does Mitchell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
