Basketball Recap: Goldendale Comes Up Short

Goldendale lost against Cle Elum-Roslyn back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Goldendale Timberwolves were outmatched by the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors and fell 79-28. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Goldendale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cle Elum-Roslyn, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Goldendale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cle Elum-Roslyn and Columbia River will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. Columbia River will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Cle Elum-Roslyn surely won't give up without a fight.
