Softball Game Preview: William Campbell Generals vs. Dan River Wildcats

William Campbell hasn't had much luck against Dan River recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. William Campbell will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

William Campbell's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Chatham 19-0. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Dan River fell victim to Appomattox County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

William Campbell's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Dan River, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
