Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Regents

Regents extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Tucker Jamison. The Regents Lions enjoyed a cozy 52-37 win over the Temple Christian Crusaders on Tuesday thanks in part to Jamison, who posted 16 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

Another player making a difference was Morris Hoffman, who had seven points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists. Hoffman is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Temple Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Cash, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Luke Gifford, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Regents' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Temple Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Regents and Mt. Carmel Christian Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Regents is facing Mt. Carmel Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Mt. Carmel Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Temple Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-34 win against Christian Heritage Academy on the 13th.
