Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Belmond-Klemme

Belmond-Klemme won against North Iowa on Friday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Broncos skirted past the Colo-NESCO Royals 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Belmond-Klemme pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Colo-NESCO, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Belmond-Klemme wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 26-6 win against Coon Rapids-Bayard on the 7th. As for Colo-NESCO, they will square off against Clarksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
