Soccer Game Preview: Lawrence North vs. Park Tudor

The Lawrence North Wildcats will be taking part in a tournament against the Park Tudor Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lawrence North comes in on three and Park Tudor on five.

Lawrence North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Speedway get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Lawrence North considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit Speedway with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ulises Rivera (2), Cesar Bolanos, Griffin Smith, and Oscar Garcia.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Park Tudor sidestepped Ben Davis for a 1-0 victory. Park Tudor found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Bennett Ford and Alex Cheng were both handed yellow cards.

Lawrence North's win bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Park Tudor, their victory bumped their record up to 13-1-1.

Lawrence North beat Park Tudor by a goal in their previous matchup back in September of 2017, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
