Volleyball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Hampden DuBose Academy on Tuesday, Burns Sci-Tech came back down to earth. Burns Sci-Tech came up short against Warner Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0. Burns Sci-Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Warner Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While Burns Sci-Tech was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Warner Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-22.

Burns Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Warner Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Burns Sci-Tech will host Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warner Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Riverbend Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
