Basketball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Williamston Hornets 58-24. The contest marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Williamston, they moved to 7-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Eastern has already played their next game, a 49-40 victory against DeWitt on the 5th. As for Williamston, they will host Haslett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
