Basketball Recap: Waynflete Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Yarmouth Academy last Thursday, Waynflete came back down to earth. The Waynflete Flyers fell 65-55 to the Hall-Dale Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Flyers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Waynflete has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Hall-Dale, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-5.

Waynflete will welcome Sacopee Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hall-Dale, they will face off against Monmouth Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th.
