Football Game Preview: Green Bay East Red Devils vs. Oshkosh North Spartans

The Green Bay East Red Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Oshkosh North Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Bay East has given up an average of 44 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Green Bay East is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Menasha on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Red Devils had to suffer through a 62-8 loss at the hands of the Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Bluejays are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, Oshkosh North put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Sheboygan South, posting a 42-12 win.

Green Bay East dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Oshkosh North, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Green Bay East was dealt a bruising 38-0 loss at the hands of Oshkosh North when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Red Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
