Williams has gone 8-2 against Southern Alamance recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Williams Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Southern Alamance Patriots at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Williams' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Last Monday, Williams lost to Voyager Academy at home by a 82-65 margin. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 20-14 in the first quarter.

Williams' loss came about despite a quality game from Colby Elliot, who posted 23 points. That was a full 35.4% of Williams' points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaeden Smith, who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Southern Alamance ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They pulled ahead with a 67-66 photo finish over NCSSM: Durham. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Southern Alamance's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Williams, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Williams came out on top in a nail-biter against Southern Alamance in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, sneaking past 52-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Williams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
