Colony had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Palmer Moose by a score of 7-3 on Tuesday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Moose, too.
Hayden Sherman made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sherman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cody Otto and Aidan Satterly did most of the damage at the plate: Otto got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Satterly went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Satterly has posted since back in May of 2024. Easton Cook also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Colony's record is now 2-3. As for Palmer, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.
Colony will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Moose: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
