Baseball Recap: Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons vs. More Knights
On Monday Crystal Springs Uplands's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the More Knights. While the Gryphons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Rohan Seiber spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Nico Abad was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
