Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Home Wins for Northside Christian Academy

Northside Christian Academy had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Hilton Dessausure did his part to make it nine on Saturday. The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northwood Academy Chargers 74-47 thanks in part to Dessausure, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 19 points along with eight boards and three steals. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Northside Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Northwood Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Northside Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pinewood Prep at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Northwood Academy, they will host Greenup County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
