Lisbon is 9-1 against Winthrop since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Greyhounds are taking a road trip to take on the Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. Lisbon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Lisbon had to make due with a tie. They and Madison finished up their match with a 6-6 tie on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Winthrop's offense. They lost 8-0 to Lisbon on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

With that tie, Lisbon's record moves to 9-2-1. As for Winthrop, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Everything went Lisbon's way against Winthrop in their previous matchup on Monday, as Lisbon made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
