            Baseball Recap: Dexter Demons vs. Sandia Prep Sundevils        
        
		
        
        
            Dexter extended their losing streak  to nine  on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 5-16 in the process. They came up short against  the Sandia Prep Sundevils, falling  14-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Sundevils this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  24-4  defeat  on Saturday.
As for Sandia Prep, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-12. The result was nothing new for the Sundevils, who have now won nine matches by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 For Sandia Prep's part, they let  Jonas Mahboub and  Logan Lemons run wild. Mahboub  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Lemons  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Lemons is becoming a predictor of Sandia Prep's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-12 when he doesn't).  Landon Hardcastle was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandia Prep, they will square off against Cobre on Friday. The Sundevils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 9.2  runs per game this season.
