Basketball Recap: Nashua-Plainfield Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last eight matches, Nashua-Plainfield finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Osage Green Devils, falling 52-29. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Nashua-Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Osage, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Nashua-Plainfield will challenge Waterloo Christian at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Osage, they will be playing at home against Southland at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Southland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matchups -- so hopefully Osage likes a good challenge.
