La Salle hadn't done well against Wilsonville recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 15-9 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory snapped La Salle's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-11 record. As for Wilsonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season.

La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-7 win against Hillsboro on the 21st. As for Wilsonville, they are taking a road trip to take on Canby at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
