Softball Recap: Bald Eagle Area Takes a Loss

Bald Eagle Area was the 5-2 winner over Central Cambria when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 5-4 on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raelee Repasky was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Bald Eagle Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Central Cambria, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bald Eagle Area will square off against Bellefonte at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.5, the Raiders 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Central Cambria, they will take on Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
