Basketball Game Preview: Springfield Renaissance vs. Lenox Memorial Millionaires

Springfield Renaissance will venture away from home to face off against the Lenox Memorial Millionaires at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated (Springfield Renaissance has 21 wins , while Lenox Memorial has three).

Last Thursday, everything went Springfield Renaissance's way against Drury as Springfield Renaissance made off with a 65-45 win. Springfield Renaissance has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Springfield Renaissance can attribute much of their success to Zi'Yan Wallace, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds, and Sy'Nye Baker, who posted 16 points along with seven boards and seven steals. That's the most rebounds Baker has posted since back in December of 2024. Zh'Nai Wallace was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Lenox Memorial was able to grind out a solid victory over Lee on Thursday, taking the game 50-38.

Springfield Renaissance's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-0. As for Lenox Memorial, their record now sits at 3-0.

Springfield Renaissance beat Lenox Memorial 56-45 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Will Springfield Renaissance repeat their success, or does Lenox Memorial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
