Volleyball Recap: Halifax Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Emma Inscoe and Payton Odom + How To Watch

After flying high against Ridgecroft on Wednesday, Halifax Academy came back down to earth. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence Academy Warriors on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 10-25, 25-23.

Halifax Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Payton Odom and Emma Inscoe. Odom had 27 assists and 19 digs, while Inscoe had 30 digs and two aces. Odom has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 19 times she's played.

Halifax Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Lawrence Academy, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-2.

Halifax Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Friendship Christian on the 16th. Lawrence Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
