Bellevue has gone a perfect 3-0 against Columbian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Redmen will head out on the road to face off against the Tornadoes at 4:45 p.m. Bellevue has given up an average of 11.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bellevue came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Clyde, falling 17-3. The Redmen have struggled against the Fliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Payton Hicks was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ava Meyer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbian). Everything went their way against Sandusky on Thursday as they made off with a 14-3 win.

Columbian's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Bellevue took their win against Columbian when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redmen since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
