Basketball Recap: Ford Comes Up Short

Ford was the 50-27 winner over Osborn when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ford Trojans were dealt a 49-3 loss at the hands of the Osborn Knights on Thursday. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ford's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Osborn, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southeastern at 11:30 a.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Osborn, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Cody at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th. Osborn's defense has only allowed 16.7 points per game this season, so Cody's offense will have their work cut out for them.
