Newton Local waltzed into their contest on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the St. Henry Redskins. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Newton Local's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for St. Henry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newton Local will face off against Tri-County North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Henry, they will square off against Marion Local at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Flyers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Redskins surely won't give up without a fight.
