Soldotna had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over the Eagle River Wolves on Saturday. The Stars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Soldotna's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Eagle River, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soldotna will head out to challenge Colony at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagle River, they are taking a road trip to square off against South Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
