Basketball Game Preview: Linden Eagles vs. Goodrich Martians

Linden hasn't had much luck against Goodrich recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Linden Eagles will take on the Goodrich Martians at 5:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Linden didn't have too much trouble with Corunna as they won 55-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Goodrich against Flushing on Tuesday as the team secured a 67-27 victory. The Martians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Goodrich is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44.2 points. Linden's win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Linden was taken down by Goodrich 60-31 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Linden avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
