            Cajon had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 54-point drubbing they dealt Redlands East Valley on Thursday. The Cowboys never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with  a   54-0  win. That looming  54-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cowboys yet this  season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cajon to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Marcus Washington, who threw for 238 yards and three  TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards.  Jordan White also helped with two scores in total.

 Cajon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Quinn Jackson and  Taylor Johnson. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made ten or more in each of the last 20 games he's  played dating back to last season. Jackson got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
The  victory was  the third in a row for Cajon, bringing their record up to 5-3. The  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Redlands East Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
 Looking ahead, Cajon will face off against Redlands at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cowboys are facing the Terriers at the right time seeing as the Terriers are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Redlands East Valley, they will head out to  challenge Yucaipa  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Thunderbirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
