Softball Recap: Dora Takes a Loss

Dora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 12-7 to the Oakman Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-3 loss back in March.

Kira Vines made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Lillian McKinney was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Oakman, their record is now 14-17.

Dora has already played their next match (against Hanceville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oakman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-2 loss against Cordova on the 12th.
