Football Recap: Oneida Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Oneida and Beekmantown squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Oneida had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Express can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Eagles are ranked second).

Oneida's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Beekmantown, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

As of now, neither Oneida nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
