Softball Recap: Warden Takes a Loss

Warden was the 7-3 winner over Royal when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Knights on Saturday, falling 17-5. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 12 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Warden and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Royal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Warden will challenge DeSales at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royal, they will take on College Place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
