Basketball Recap: Holliday Takes a Loss

After flying high against Vernon last Friday, Holliday came back down to earth. The Holliday Eagles took a 46-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Idalou Wildcats. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Holliday's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Idalou, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.

Holliday will square off against Henrietta at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holliday is facing Henrietta at the right time seeing as Henrietta is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Idalou has already played their next game, a 56-40 win against Christoval on the 28th.
