Basketball Recap: South Cobb Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

South Cobb had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over the Pebblebrook Falcons on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Among those leading the charge was Nevaeh Clark, who posted 12 points. Kimora Starling was another key player, putting up seven points.

South Cobb's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Pebblebrook, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Cobb will square off against Osborne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pebblebrook has already played their next contest (against Paulding County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
