Basketball Recap: Puyallup Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Puyallup can now relate to. They fell just short of the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups by a score of 56-54 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Bullpups are ranked third).

Puyallup is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 21-8. As for Gonzaga Prep, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.

As of now, neither Puyallup nor Gonzaga Prep have any future games scheduled.
