After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Center, Seton Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fort Vancouver Trappers. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trappers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Seton Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sofia Southwick led the charge by getting five aces and four digs. That's the most aces Southwick has posted over her last nine matchups. Ella Asuncion also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Seton Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Fort Vancouver, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
