Softball Recap: White County Central Takes a Loss

White County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs.

White County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Central Arkansas Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Coming up, White County Central will look to defend their home field on Monday against Newport at 4:30 p.m. The Bears are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Central Arkansas Christian, they will head out to challenge Bigelow at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
